Hey, so in the creation of the competition I decided to participate via attempting to make my first skin ever. This is, by no means, perfect, and afaik if I was a bit more experienced, I could do a better job, but i'm mostly proud of the head, and I'd love to see feedback on what I could do better the next time I try to make a skin. Thanks! btw if you didn't know already, this is an OC.

Story ~>:
This boy was unlike the rest they said. He definitely wasn't the smartest, but he always had a "flicked on" mindset, as they would call it. Light bulbs seemed to glow brighter in his presence, and he always seemed to excel at odd tinkering habits and science experiments. During classes, the teachers would call him out for fiddling, as although he didn't mean to, he always seemed to do it more, and more, and more. His mind seemed to have infinite inventions, each one more practical than the last.


Some would call him a freak, for he didn't socialize much. Back then, mental disorders weren't really a every day, or even common topic to discuss. It tended to be name-calling by the children, and looks of sorrow from the adults wondering what went wrong with their child.

Nothing truly did go wrong with him though. Although he didn't like socializing, and was quite introverted, his mind was truly brilliant in more ways than one. Over the years, there was a world hidden that was soon uncovered by such mind, and upon playing around with it, and messing with various concoctions, was he finally be able to blow it, and his ancestry well open.

He, had magical blood within him, and he seemed to be one of the very last organisms to be able to do so. But why did it fade out so fast? He spent years researching this, keeping himself, and this secret well away from any population able to potentially harness it for their own purposes.

Was it some sort of genocide that occurred? Had a disease wiped through the populous, or had their magical blood thinned to the point where it no longer mattered?

He made it his life mission to unlock the potential within those unable to reach the same abilities that he could, not because he wanted his name on a plaque, or to be greeted nicely, but because he wanted the world to discover what had been left behind by their ancestors from many centuries ago.

Did he succeed however? That, is up for you to decide...
