Insurgency Deathstroke does not have a helmet, and is as defiant as he is in the normal universe. He starts off being tortured by Regime Cyborg and Regime Raven at Ferris Aircraft. He refuses to accept the regime's "amnesty", knowing exactly what their "re-education" meant. Raven decides to up her torture, causing even Deathstroke to cry out in agony. However, normal Green Lantern, in the event of re-charging, intervenes and takes down both Raven and Cyborg. Deathstroke, believing him to be the Green version of Yellow Lantern, refusing his help, and slips away when Green Lantern is contacted by normal Wonder Woman.
He is next seen talking with Insurgency Lex Luthor, claiming he wants to join the insurgency. When asked why, he claimes they made it personal.
Deathstroke makes another appearance with Insurgency Lex Luthor, plotting Regime Superman's death. Normal Cyborg, mistakening the new universe as his world, attacks both Luthor and Deathstroke, defeating them both. However, he is stopped by the remaining insurgents.
Cyborg and Deathstroke pair up to take over the Watchtower next. Tensions are high, and when Cyborg mentions Deathstroke's attacks on the Teen Titans, he responds with "Only a few times". Cyborg then makes it clear that they are not friends. Deathstroke meets up with Cyborg, in which normal Cyborg just defeated his counterpart, Regime Cyborg.
Deathstroke later lays down some explosive traps in which both Regime Shazam and Regime The Flash fall into. Deathstroke manages to beat Shazam while he is stunned by the traps. He calls Billy a kid (which he is), and finds the controls for the core reactor. He starts getting to work on it, claiming "It's payback time".
Deathstroke sets the reactor to blow itself up. When confronted by Regime Flash, he says "It's not what I'm doing. It's what I've already done". Deathstroke beats Regime Flash, and returns to Cyborg.
Cyborg is more than furious at what Deathstroke did. Deathstroke says Superman's Regime is dependent on the watchtower, and that Regime Superman is his priority, not their Batman. Luthor then gives Deathstroke coordinates on where to get a replacement Kryptonite weapon.
Deathstroke confronts both Regime Wonder Woman (WW) and Regime Killer Frost (KF). He binds WW with her own lasso, and confronts KF. After beating her and claiming her tactics were "one-dimensional", he returns to WW. WW takes one of his handguns, and says he should have taken amnesty. Deathstroke then retaliates with "And miss my chance to battle Superman's rebound girl?". WW, outrages, claims she is an amazon. Deathstroke, parrying her attacks, says Amazons are an obsolete race with predictable techniques, and defeats WW.
Deathstroke delivers the weapon, but unfortunately Insurgency Luthor dies, and with him Deathstroke's cash reward. It is assumed the Mercanary lost interest, and was satisfied with exacting revenge on Regime Superman.
