The Dogon people are a group of living in the central plateau region of the country of Mali, in Western Africa.

Side note: This is supposed to be a Dogon male/female dressed in festive wear (I presume from the information that I gathered that this is some sort of festive wear.) He/she has a mask (That is not his/her real face).
