not an oc but an original species that i haven't made a character for yet
they exist in a fantasy type world
their race is kinda cursed ? they used to be able to use magic but some event made them lose their ability to use it, but it remained in their bodies and it had nowhere to go so it came out in the form of horns
so their horns are very dense with magic. their kind also became immune to magic due to the curse - their horns absorb anything thrown at them.
they regularly shave off their horns to sell to other races, theyre very useful as sort of magic batteries since nothing else like them exist naturally. they get used in shields and wands (? not sure if theyre gonna use wands or staffs in this world, gonna give it more thought), and, unknown to most of the population, soul containers.
