The main character of the show, The Andy Griffith Show. Acted by Andy Griffith. He created the show, and had his family in the show, Aunt Bee and Opie. Aunt Bee is Andy's aunt, and Opie is his son. In the pilot, it was revealed Opie lost his mother when he was the wee speck of a baby. His trustworthy deputy, Barney Fife, attends to him catching crimes around Mayberry.
