Oh! I was actually thinking about tips I could give you! First, I'd recommend simply googling shades of black or gray, and using said shades to differentiate the straps from the collar of the shirt, now, the top pixel of the straps shouldn't be jutting out to the side, and should be going straight up. There's definitely a learning curve to shading minecraft skins, hell, my first batch o' skins were literally just Pixel Man reskins, just turning Pixel Man into me.



Even with my American Gothic v2 skin I just looked up a quick tutorial on how to shade hair and then completely ripped the style I liked. Experimentation with shades and shading in general is very important, like- even for the shirt! You can look up lighter and darker shades of red, and experiment, see what looks good, what doesn't look good, learn, make mistakes, improve over time. It may look complicated at first, but- you start to recognize the patterns.
