Did you go by the English Pokemon Adventures manga? 'Cos I'm pretty sure it's Green and not Blue. Even the Chinese one said so.

Well the game follows the manga or the other way round. You can name the characters any way you want, so you can't say it's from the fucking game. The manga IS valid as far as I know, the LeafGreen calls the rival Blue.

I don't care. All I know is that the rival is called Green and the girl is called Blue. Just because of the game and the English manga the names were switched.
