Broken

Love is one of the most powerful emotions. It can do beautiful things to people. It can do horrible things to people.

In this case, meet the bride, or Annabelle.

Annabelle is a bride, was, and was as happy as can be. She was finally being united with the love of her life. The wedding march was to be played, flowers everywhere, a gentle and romantic atmostphere... Oh, it was anything a girl would desire. As she took her final steps up to the alter though, and gazed into her love's eyes. When the pastor asked if he took her hand, he hesitated. Annabelle's eyes widened. Her jaw dropped. 
                "I'm sorry, Anna."
Annabelle fled from the chapel and got as far away as she could. She was gone for days. Anna was shocked and broken and torn. She just... didn't want to exist. She found a clif after running for so long. She was sweaty and lacked energy. Annabelle sat down at the edge of the clif. She gazed down, a river and rocks. Jagged-ones, at that. She was so... so tired. She wanted to sleep. She didn't want to be depressed over love anymore. She threw herself over the edge.
     Anna was found by hikers a few days later. Her dress was caked with blood, and the biggest injury of the body of all was a jagged point of a rock, dug through her heart.
