Captain Hector Barbossa from the live action Disney films, Pirates of the Caribbean. Barbossa, (meaning red beard) was featured in all five films, dying in the 1st only to be revived at the end of the 2nd. Then in between the 3rd and 4th, he lost his leg to Blackbeard during an unseen battle, resulting in him quitting the pirates to work for the British King. However, Barbossa got his revenge by plunging a poisoned sword through Blackbeard's heart, after which he left the navy and once again became the Captain of the Black Pearl.
