for my honorary 50th skin, i decided to make a reletivly un-used concept and present it to the community (that is, if no one else has already)

the base skin for this was my current skin, modified off sargent gaze (an older skin some of my long time subs would know.)

i added some goggles and a head set to the hat texture and originaly added some patches of hair aswell, but removed it since i decided the other 2 took to much room for it to be used effectivly in the concept presentation.

now then, what is this concept i keep mentioning you ask? making a skin that not only looks good but melds well with the decorative wearable mob heads added in the 1.4 update.

the way this is done is very simple. mob heads overlap and replace the your skins head texture, while leaving the hat texture untouched. this means you can add much more dynamics to skins in a way, like being able to turn your headset bearing soldier into a zombie or skeleton, while still maintaining the headset, and maybe a few patches of hair left to give an extra sense of decay. one important thing to note however, is that i had to eithet conceal or blend the skin on everything except the head in order to make it look good with the heads. on the shirt i simply covered up the skin with the entire shirt, and on the arms i found a happy medium color that looked good as zombie skin or bone for skeletons and zombies, or gloves for withers and creepers.

i know this concept isnt the most exciting or mind blowing, but i thought it was interesting and deffinently deserves more attention. hope you all liked my little presentation!

oh, almost forgot! heres some example pics:
