CROCKY! IT DOES EXIST

     Way back in the day, we're talking 1800's here. There was a creature who was always hated. No one really knew why they hated him they just always did. Then one day he tried to force his love upon the people of the New Nation and they chased him back to the ocean with pitchforks and such. Then over the years he became adjusted to living in the sea until this nation started to grow. As it started to grow more and more towns and cities began to pop up. This made Geoff (the creature) want to swim around and explore the new things. One day he found himself in a system of tunnels with grates and pipes all around. So he decided to live in these tunnels and make a home. Many children claimed to have seen him there but no one would ever believe them, "It's just your imagination" they would say. He would sometimes look through the grates at all of the new things around, then one day he saw this blue thing on wheels wiz by. He went up out of the sewers to look at this marvelous machine until they chased him back into the sea with guns and knives. He decided that he wanted nothing to do with the humans anymore so he just stayed in the sewers and stopped watching through the grates. One day a boy fell into the deep waters of the sewers and started to drown. At first Geoff wasn't going to do anything but he decided to save him anonymously. He jumped in after the little boy considering he could swim very well, and scooped the boy up and took him to dry land. People saw Geoff with the boy and were furious because they thought he was attacking him, but then the boy stopped them and told them about Geoff and how he had been watching him for months and had read about him and how he tried to be friends with the humans, yet they always pushed him away. "Is it really all that bad to look different?" the boy said. "He wants to be our friend but just because he looks different than we do we chase him with weapons." Everyone tried to argue with the boy, but he knew that they were all ashamed. Some bystanders videotaped the entire situation on their smartphones and posted the video online. Just one little boy changed Geoff's life forever.
