Delphi the Dolphin was born tail first 13 years ago. He didn't like how his pod would herd fish into a ball and literally dive in. He felt it was disgusting to catch still-wriggling food with his mouth. Delphi sought to find another way to use his skills. He tried making the pod members his slaves who would bring dead fish to him. He tried leaping out of the ocean and slamming into fishing boats to knock out their fish. He tried to catch fish by wrapping his slippery flippers. He tried stealing sushi from romantic cruises. He tried asking politely for fish to leap into his throat. Finally, a month ago, the young dolphin found what he thought at the time was the perfect method.

Delphi swam deep into Old Crusty's dark cave. He managed to avoid crashing into the walls, thanks to fluorescent seaweed that grew in small clumps. He had come in here, seeking wisdom, as he had heard that Old Crusty had much to spare. Old Crusty was a huge lobster, millennia old, and knew tales from when dolphins and man were the best of companions. At last, Delphi made it to the main cavern. It was a huge, dreary place, devoid of any life except glowing seaweed, or so it appeared. A voice groaned. "Blast it! Not another guest!" it whispered croakily. "Well, you're here now, Delphi, so spit it out." Crusty crawled out of a crack in the floor. Delphi gasped. "How did you know my name?" Old Crusty groaned again. "Why are the young ones so inquisitive? Well, since you are so ignorant, I could tell it was you because it is THE MOST COMMON DOLPHIN NAME!" Delphi didn't think that angering the great crustacean would be a good career move. "Okay, okay, I get it. Do you know how to get fish without using your mouth? I was thinking of a fish that would make me eternally satisfied." "I know of a world in which you get hands, and can use a fishing pole to survive. It's known as Minecraft." "Wow! Can I go there?" asked Delphi excitedly. "You might not like it. You can't come back. The world is dangerous!" warned Crusty. "Of course I'll like it! It will be awesome! I'll catch lots and lots of fish with something other than my mouth!" yelled Delphi. "Close your eyes, count to ten thousand, and I'll see what I can do," Old Crusty said with a menacing growl.

"o ¦9,999o ¦10,000!" Delphi opened his eyes and and found himself in a strange world. It was a series of platforms surrounding some boxes. With a shock, Delphi realized that everyone, including him was in a weird pixelated cube suit. All of a sudden Delphi dashed to the boxes against his will and started taking everything in them he could. The other cube-people did the same. Delphi couldn't control his body! He then realized he was to be a pixelated slave for the rest of his life.
