With that wide, toothy grin that seems to stretch from one side of his face to the other, Goober isn't your typical menacing shark. His eyes are large and round, full of an almost childlike wonder, and they often seem to be looking in slightly different directions, adding to his perpetually bewildered expression.
While he does have rows of sharp teeth, they mostly seem to be used for flashing that enormous, friendly (if slightly unnerving) smile. Goober's intentions are always good, even if his execution is a little… well, goofy. He's the kind of shark who'd try to play fetch with a starfish or accidentally photobomb a school of angelfish with an enthusiastic wiggle. He's a well-meaning, slightly clumsy, and utterly endearing goofball of the deep blue sea.
