Rolling back the clock to a time when the overworld was inhabited, we find the ancient Desert People. Commoners were those that were lower on the pyramid of society. Most had a trade of some sort such as smithing, baking, fig gathering, or (especially the younger ones) an apprentice to those who knew the trade well.
