The night was crisp, and young. As the bright moon overhead set the wastes awash with its silver light, the figure of a dark silhouette can be seen traversing the dead salt flats. Their eyes cast the faint glow of green optics upon the sands. A face that now is merely but a memory of the guardians of the past, replaced by their successors, a red visage that had become the new face of the silent executioner, a whisperer of justice using the song of lead and gunpowder to carry their message. As this messenger of an older era strolls along the pitch-blackness of the wastes, they spot the familiar neon glow from the distance, the ever present light of New Vegas. Their destination was finally in sight, their journey to an end. Home was close at hand.

Decided to do this on a whim, its an interpretation of the Desert Ranger's armor from Fallout New Vegas, the symbol of the once powerful Rangers who defended the Mojave Wastes from evil before the NCR-Ranger pact unified the two into one defensive force. Legend says that there are a few who still don the old armor, taking up the mantle of the Ranger's mission, but no one knows for sure.
