Highlights from the previous weekend:
Hi, how's everyone doing?
Last weekend our school hosted a MUN for the first time and i participated in it. I won't tell which country I represented because that might upset some of my friends (even though it was just a role). Anyways, I was in the UNGA and I received the special mention award, in my first MUN itself!!
The event was more fun than nerve-racking. We had made an alliance of 24 countries and I was the head member of it. I made soo many new friends, met soo many new people. The dopamine crash really hit after this magnificent event, like, I couldn't stop thinking about the MUN for 2 whole days after the event concluded. Our school had arranged for our meals, so basically, we spent 2 days with our friends in our schools and had a grand party basically. Phones and laptops were allowed, which are usually not, especially in India. We had a disco on Saturday and everyone went wild as if they were dancing in a wedding (look up barat dances, you'll understand). We danced with teachers and other students. We also made a whatsApp group in which oml the stuff everyone talks ab/sends in the group is honestly 💀. We clicked many photos, I thought about sharing them but most of them contain faces so I shall refrain from doing so. The conference itself was very heated and I debated very well. The late nights of research about my country allotted (till 1:30), really paid off.
The others from different schools were also pretty chill, I really like their personalities. And yeah, after I won the award, my teachers and classmates congratulated me and appreciated me greatly the following day. It is honestly a huge milestone as my competition was Iran (1st prize) , who had participated in 16 MUNs and China, who did not receive any prize, being a 9 time MUN experienced person. And yeah I also talked with many gurls 😈 haha, just a joke.
TLDR: I participated in a MUN held in our school and enjoyed very much.

I advice you all to participate in such events, even if you are not a good speaker, because you will surely make many friends along the way.

I don't belong here anymore. Most of my friends here, the ones who were there from the start have slowly disappeared and I guess, it's time for me to do the same! However, one thing that does belong is love for you siblings. So, enjoy a belated Raksha Bandhan from yours truly :D Appreciate your siblings, because some are not lucky to have them.
