Yeah, it's kind of a joke. I'm taking some of my mainstream characters - characters who've gotten a bunch of views, downloads, diamonds, and favourites over the years - and updating them as their Multiversal variants to kind of make good on the premise of my PMC account.

And in response to your Q, there's a couple of reasons. First, a lot or other folks have good Doctor Doom skins. No one's got a Counter Earth skin. Second, I find it endlessly funny that, because this used to be the classic Doom skin, it has a whole lot more views and downloads than a Counter-Earth Doom skin would ever have on it's own.

So, long story short, originality and the humour.
