Ellen is one of the possible bachelorettes in the first Harvest Moon game, she works and lives in the town's restaurant. Her mother is the owner of the restaurant, and her father is a juiceholic who'd rather drink than work, meanwhile her uncle is the town's livestock dealer. Ellen is responsible, kind, an excellent cook, and loves animals, she also gives the player her dog Kero to help out around the player's farm and because she cannot keep Kero in the restaurant.
