I make my skins using a program called MCSkin3D Developed by Paril. In my opinions it's not too difficult to use and is highly user friendly. I really do recommend trying it out. Here's a link. MCSkin3D

Also, on occasion, I edit my skins with Paint.net.

Thank you very much for the lovely comment! Also, I must thank Darkrai for getting me noticed a little more. Very grateful of that. And don't worry, I wasn't too good at the beginning but with time and watching a few tutorials,observing, and experimenting I learned little techniques to make my skins really look nice. I highly recommend doing that and I'll gladly subscribe to you back so I may keep track of your work as well :D!
