The Historic Gauls have you covered!




The Gauls were tribal societies that would under times of duress enter temporary confederacies, such as during the Roman invasion.

Most accounts of the Gauls say that they were short-bearded, but that their leaders, kings and chieftains would sport incredible mustaches.

Their hair was likened to that of Satyrs. So thick were their manes!



Some Gauls were incredibly sucessful in their defence of their homeland, so much so that they once even managed to sack Rome itself. This was under the leadership of 'Brennus', who is famously attributed to have said



"Woe to the conquered!"



upon hearing the complaints of the beleaguered Roman citizens, as they had to pay weights of gold to stop Brennus and his army from outright burning Rome to the ground.



This Skin is not completely historically accurate, as the Gauls would have bleached their already colourful hair to even brighter colours. This is also not how the Gaulic Royals would have dressed for battle, far from it. This is the historic equivalent of a t-shirt and jeans of today, or a suit of the 1800s, fine to wear anywhere.
