Anakin Skywalker is a complex and conflicted Jedi Knight driven by a strong sense of duty and responsibility as the Chosen One destined to bring balance to the Force, yet he grapples with inner demons, including fear and temptation toward the dark side. He was discovered as a slave on the desert planet of Tatooine, but his innate Force sensitivity led him to become a Jedi apprentice, becoming a formidable warrior and skilled pilot. Anakin fought alongside his close friend and mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, throughout many battles during the Clone Wars, and their bond as Jedi was unbreakable. Additionally, Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's Jedi padawan, one he viewed as a little sister, played a pivotal role in his life, eventually also leading the 501st Legion of Clone Troopers. Tragically, Chancellor Palpatine, secretly known as the Sith Lord Darth Sidious to very few, manipulated Anakin's fears and ambitions, deceiving him into becoming the powerful monster known as Darth Vader.
