Anyways, yes im back nah im notI'm slowly getting more free time and since I'm getting used to making skins with this ugly trash 5$ laptop I'll start uploading again, maybe. nah I wont

I was actually looking forward to using mcskin3d but NNOOOOOO my computer is not compatible still >:( so I gotta use gimp again..


ANYWAYS! I entered Icarian's & Waka's contest, I actually joined the contest so I can motivate myself into skinning, and to see if I improved.

I did not try at all with this skin honestly, I did not look up references for ANYTHING. I really wanted to make the astronaut suit look decent but eh! Honestly I'm already out of the contest thanks for having me I'll have my prize now!!!!

How do you get transparency in skins (I kinda understand how to in gimp) But really, HOW DO YOU MAKE AND SHADE SKINS IN GIMP TEACH ME YOUR WAYSSSSSS (Sorry. I have Gimp, and use it for my art, but have no clue how to use it for skins. And I suck at making skins xD So maybe using gimp could make them better? idk but if you could help me, that'd be great xD)

I'd love to teach you, but sadly enough I can only tell you to download the MC skin references @ minecraft.net

and using gimp wont make u better, no program will. Its all on you if you are good or not. Improvement is key! x'3

Yeah, ik. It's just I really want to learn how to use other programs and skin editors besides the Skindex one (It's really bad never use it ;-;) and the one I'm using now (this one) So yeah, ik that no program could make me better.

Well tbh the 3D skin viewer and editor i use is nova skin

oh and why don't u download MCSkin3D if u are using a Windows computer? x,)

Trust me, it will really help you with picking palettes and basically skinning overall! But it all depends on the user haha
