In Too Deep

A prosperous wanderer once wandered the overworld. She went on many exploits and was kind to those she came across.
She had a fatal flaw however, she could not bear to be without. When she discovered the existence of another dimension, a hellscape that was commonly known as The Nether by many, she was determined to be the first to find everything.
Upon building her portal, she traveled many chunks and became known by many Piglins for her generosity with gold.
Hoglins recognized her tenacity, courage, and determination, and few dared get in her way.

The Soul Sand Valley, was the only place that eluded her understanding. She studied its sand full of souls and bones.
She learned how to capture them, and set them free. But the most important of her discoveries was how to imbue armor with soul energy.
Aileth become obsessed with that pertaining to the soul until her death.

Many say that her spirit roams the Soul Sand Valleys and that she brings skeletons back up from the dead in order to do her timeless bidding.
Others say that she invented Ghasts, but one thing is for certain, almost everything we know about her has faded into legend
