Ah yes it has to do with the fact that I always draw the whole design on the base layer first, and then add any armor layer details. And normally I don't have the entirety of the cape on the armor. But in this case you're right, there's no reason for any red to be on the base layer. 😅

I don't understand why people connect the capes to the body the part that connects should be the only thing that connects in my opinion 🤔😅
