Incompiuto

I arrived at the house of the inventor, he was a skilled man, everything he made was a work of art. Not just what he made, every thing he participated in was a work of art. The man loved beauty. Even his death was a work of art, I gave a small shrug and figured he would at least be a little happy about that.

"Any clues yet officer Doile?" I asked trying not to stare at the half completed bot.

"So far just this letter to a friend, he was writing it when he was killed." Doile responded, I walked over to the desk to read over the inventor's shoulder.

"Aristano, I tell you this is going to be the total sum of all of my life's work. I have almost completely finished the face, all that is left are it's eyes, and to etch in a mouth. The main body is almost done, it's breast plate, I finished earlier this morning, and most of the wood has been set on. The legs still have a few iron plates to place, but never the less I got some of the first wood on it yesterday. I am still having problems with the arms, so they are only covered with plates of brass and leather straps. And of course I still have yet to finish it's voice box, and other things. I'm not close to being done, but I have given it's name some thoughts. I think I will call it Incomp...."

The letter had ended there with a long line and blood stains, I looked at the bot again. His legacy piece, every artist wants one, to bad he didn't get to finish his.

So here is my entry to that steam punk skin contest, I have a few ideas and little changes I might make, but for right now, I'm happy with it. Any way As normal any comments, thoughts, or suggestions, are appreciated. Also if you judges have any suggestion on how I can improve my skin making abilities, I'm all ears.
