I have no excuse for my absence other than "Motivation to make skins is rare because I spend most of my energy on real life things and this only got finished beyond the head because I forced myself to stay up until nearly 5am to finish it, knowing that if I were to go to bed I would no longer have the motivation to finish this and would likely just let it collect dust in my drive while feeling bad about it because this is actually a gift".
Which is a fairly long excuse, actually.
