What are Kerakin?

Kerakin are a race of crustaceans living in Extension Swamps, which are named after their unique, octopus-like trees. It's hard to tell if Kerakin are sapient or not, but for sure they are friendly. Just don't touch their abdomens. Anyone who probably did that was never seen again...
