"Once a powereful and feared Wizard, set on the ultimate quest to obtain immortality, after contracting a fatal infection from contact with a horde of undead pigmen during unsuccesful trek into the Nether to obtain glowstone. Alone he weaved his magic and contructed a powerful tiara incrusted with a single diamond which was to hold his living soul.
On the very verge of death, every minute his life slipping away from him, calling forth every last inch of magika left of him, He channeled the last of his soul into the diamond forged into the tiara as he chanted the last words, crumpled into his throne.

for a thousand years his body rotted away from the flesh eating infection, nothign left but a hollow shell of a skeleton.
Untill one night the moonlight reflection sparkled in the diamond tiara, and the ancient wizards soul channled right back into the hollow skull, he lives again.
His tower now dark crumbled and weathered, he begins to rebuild his long lost pride, realising the amount of power he could have, corrupts his good nature to greed and control.
He begins to search for more diamonds, channel the souls of unfortunate adventurers, to create an Immortal kingdom.
