The Lizardman Hunter is one of the possible varieties of molted lizardmen, once they reach requisite age the molting process begins, shedding the older, flimsier green scales for a tougher, blue coat, the hunter is a marked improvement on its lesser tribemates. Color denotes status within the Lizardman society, among physical and mental increases this transformation also bears several societal perks, such as access to the jungle during the day, better food options, and more nesting space. This variety of Lizardman is no longer a mindless reptile, while its bloodlust is much the same as its green brethren, this lizard prefers to stalk it's prey, waiting for the right moment to strike, instead of madly pursuing its quarry. These lizards favor ranged weaponry over their claws, and are often seen wielding makeshift short bows, and use tooth tipped arrows. While still a formidable foe up close, due to its more reserved nature the hunter can be more manageable than its un-molted compatriots, however it requires a finer hand to dispatch. Beware of its arrows, for it is an accomplished marksman and hunter. Should you encounter one, know this, if you see the hunter, you have been seen a hundred times over. Fortunately the hunter is often solitary, though they have been known to hunt in pairs, the tightening of a drawstring may be the only warning you are in ones sight, keep your ears sharp, and step lightly when in a hunters territory.
