Luke Skywalker is a Jedi, like his father was, and he faced the emperor and Darth Vader. His love for his father brought Vader back from the darkness and made him become Anakin Skywalker once again. They defeated the emperor together just before his father die.
After this events, Luke decided to learn what he could about the force and create a new Jedi order...
