i actually had this skin simmering in my files for a while before this with 0 intention of posting it but i saw the jam and i was like aahhhh why not. at least then itll actually be useful

gonna quickly fill out the info needed and then give a more detailed description

i am well aware Mallory is a traditionally feminine name, but it used to be a last name, then it became a masculine name, and he was born in like 1891 so.
also its not pictured in this skin, but he wears a plague doctor mask 90% of the time.

He grew up in a small town with his aunt before running away at the age of 17 to be a mage/alchemist. Magic and the study of it wasn't explicitly outlawed, but it was generally frowned upon and even feared by some, and Mallory had definitely heard a great amount about it considering his mother was thought to be a witch. He never knew her, and his father had died in a mining accident when he was 13. An event that was also frequently blamed on his mother.

After he left, he never contacted anyone in town again. Although, a few years later, a man disappeared in the woods surrounding the town. The paranoid people immediately tied it to the "cursed" child that had disappeared earlier, but that's absurd, of course. There's no connection, I promise.

It became a bit of a cautionary tale afterward, told to keep the young children from straying too far away from the town.
