Entry for Fishkiss's Palette Contest

I liked the idea of creating a sea creature, so I began with creating the mean-looking face. With the given palette gold was a perfect choice for some armor which inspired me to give it a royal look. The purple color of the cape and loin-cloth lead me down the road of turning this into a roman-like emperor or commander. With a menacing demeanor he has surely earned the title of conqueror of the seas.

I tried to choose a name fitting with the roman theme. It's supposed to be Latin for something along the lines of 'Sea-emperor'. Let me know what you think.
