She doesn't have much lore, but I'll put it here anyway. In 1996, the "Hljóðbrot War" (I'll put more info on this later somewhere) started. Meadow, then, was like 16. What does she have to do with this? Well, she was sent out by good ol' Brauni Sun to "protect" Vexatus (Vexatus was in his "500 year slumber at that time). Why Vexatus? He was thought to have special wisdom, and "had to be protected from Hljóðbrot's army at all costs". Anyways, back to Meadow. She was sent in Vexatus' cave with a ton of rations of food and water. She wasn't sent with communication gear though, and had no clue when the war ended (it ended in 1998, but she was never notified). In 2000 (Meadow was around 20 years old), Vexatus finally awoke from his slumber. Not noticing Meadow for a few hours until he realized she was there and went into a small panic, incoherently stammering jumbled up Middle English and Latin. (Which particularly surprised Meadow, as Vexatus lived in Siberia but did not stammer any Russian, nor ever speak it, making her learning Russian before she was sent out here completely useless.) Vexatus was generally confused, but eased into Meadow being there within a few months. Meadow made brief explanations of the Hljóðbrot War and why she was stuck with Vexatus. Finally, in 2001, they both went outside, getting a good taste of fresh air after so long. Meadow made Vexatus stay at the rim of the cave whilst she found locals, so Vexatus stayed. When Meadow had found locals (finally, in 2003) and asked about the Hljóðbrot War, she was informed it had ended 5 years prior. Meadow got contact to Brauni, and was finally allowed to go home. Home was destroyed in the war though, so she had to find somewhere else. She felt bad for Vexatus, so she brought him with her (he would've probably snuck after her anyway).
