Thanks so much for the diamond! Also, I really appreciate that criticism, and I agree with you - the only problem is that my reference was just solid colors, kind of like this. I added a bit of noise to the blues, but just a tiny bit because he is, you know, kind of a cartoonish character. What did you have in mind for shadows/lighting? Like... where on the skin? Perhaps on the face, under the helmet?
