Metallivore

Infesting the vast scrap-heaps in the wastelands of Future-Earth, these savage creatures have an unending appetite for both man and metal alike. They utilize metal scraps to form a protective armor that doubles as their portable home. Cunning and resourceful, they often prefer to make their homes in one of the many discarded service robots that lay rusting in the scrap-heaps, like a kind of grotesque hermit crab. They are even capable of controlling these robots, and any metallivore that is lucky enough to get hold of an abandoned military robot is a formidable enemy indeed.
