I'm not going to join these contests if my skins aren't going to even be considered.
Myself and a few of my friends were certain I would be a finalist in this contest. If my effort is not going to be appreciated by the judges, I may as well stop trying.

Everyone that gets the top 50 for finalists almost all have one thing in common:
They follow the same style as literally every other "fancy skin"
And to me, that's unoriginal.
When you copy a style simply because it looks nice to you...
Is that really coming from your own mind? Is it actually original?
Nobody else had colors bleed into each other,
Nobody else had even nearly as epic a description as I did.
And not even that was appreciated?
And I'm sure few of those people did the shading all by themselves, pixel by pixel, one square at a time.
I did. I do. I work hard. And every time, I think my skin should've been in the last 5 of the top 50.
What is it about the other skins, which really look to me like any other minecraft skin, that makes people enjoy them so much?
