Nord (Elder Scrolls)

The Nords of Atmora are believed to be the first humans to enter Tamriel. There, they developed a longstanding feud with many kinds of elves. In their home land of Skyrim, the Nords live for battle and honor, prefering to die in battle than of old age. They are devout followers of the Nine, but mainly for the human-god Talos. They reverred him so much, they even had a civil war with the empire Talos had created, in order to continue prayer. In ancient times, the Nords where ruled by dragons and their priests. Many temples and burial sites where built, until the god of wind and nature Kyne (A.K.A. Kynareth) gave them the gift of the Thu'um. This new power lead to the downfall of dragons, and would be used as a sacred weapon of the Nords ever since. The Nords are well known for their ancient oaths and  great smithing. They don't usually agree with magic users, and have often shown xenophobia like the Dunmer. With all of this shown in thier land, the Nords remain as the truest form of man, for they also pray to that who has betrayed the elves, Lorkhan, or as they called him, Shor. 

The armor used is the Nordic Carved armor of Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.
