Traditional kimono? I like the colors and the collar is on the right way, so that makes me very happy ^^ The pattern on the kimono sleeves is also on good areas. One major feature of kimono that I don't see here is the obi bow at the back. You can search "obi musubi" for that, there are many different ones. The most common ones are possibly chou musubi and taiko musubi. "Musubanai" (https://www.instagram.com/p/Bwb6N-JACRT/) is an exception to having a bow but it is such a new thing that I don't know much about it at all.

Traditional kimono are also obviously full length ^^; but I get that having long socks here is a feature you wanted to have.

ohmygod;; thank you so much for educating me!! i'll definitely remember about the bow in the future <3



and about the skirt; i actually tried making it full length but i couldnt get the shading to look "right" and gave up halfway ^^' so i just made it up with thigh highs x)

Ah ^^; I always just concentrate on making a pattern on the hem of the kimono, shading is bit beyond me ^^;;; Kudos for trying!
