Life was never easy for Ophelia, she was the youngest of six siblings born into a peasant family around 1830. Her parents were less than pleased at the time of her birth since she was just another mouth to feed. Ophelia was quite a plane-looking child when she was born making her marriage prospects even lower than they already were bearing in mind they would never be able to provide a dowry for her. As time went on and Ophelia got older she became very beautiful with people even describing her as Ethereal or goddess-like. When Ophelia was ten a noblewoman saw her playing in the streets and was taken aback by the beautiful girl and with the proper etiquette tutoring and after paying them a handsome fee she whisked Ophelia away from her family, little did Ophelia know that would be the last time her parents ever saw her. by the age of seventeen Ophelia had become a proper young lady and was presented to the queen that season. At her debutante ball, Ophelia danced with Andreas the son of a wealthy king, and her engagement to him was arranged by her Guardian and his father. two weeks before her eighteenth birthday Ophelia and Andreas married in an elaborate ceremony. After a month of marriage, Ophelia had fallen out of love with Prince Andreas after seeing how cruel he was to the palace staff and the people of his land. One night while Ophelia was feeding the ducks in the garden a group of angry peasants including her own brother dragged her out of the garden and through the palace courtyard to a guillotine, as the blade was released it shattered into a thousand tiny pieces before even touching her neck, this led to cries of "Witch" and "Enchantress." not satisfied with her failed execution her brother dragged her back to the palace garden where her hands were bound and she was thrown in the lake she loved sitting by. her brother watched as her elegant dress weighed her down and sunk her slowly into the depths of the lake. Large teal and gold flowers emerged from the lake, and lying on the largest flower was Ophelia wearing a diadem made from vines, she spoke not a word to her brother as she faded out of sight. was she a ghost, was she alive what had he just seen?
