First time I've ever participated in a contest. <_<
The outcast-
A bandit was sought out by a tribe of the Hunters. As he tripped and stumbled away as fast as he could, carrying large amounts of food and primary items to survive, he clumsly escaped out of their well guarded camp. He trekked for miles, his arms becoming weary and his vision blurring faster every minute out in the barren wasteland. Ever since the atomic bombs were dropped by the soviet union, the whole earth has been suffering. Vast amounts of radiation lazily moved around the world. The world was trapped in a devestating nuclear winter, killing or severly damaging over 80% of earth's human population. Most animals that survived were mutated, green glowing piles of goop or had horribly disfigured body parts. The outcast was not the only one survivng as a bandit. Many others had lost their homes, their families and friends, and were forced to live and wander the harsh world. Some created tribes if they found people like them that weren't hostile. He couldnt live like one of them, he was a well known bandit who scoured the land of what had once been the mojave desert in California. Living off the land deep snow that had once been a hot sandy desert, living anywhere was a complete utter nightmare. He had to switch shelters and travel for new onces every week because of wild animals or tribes being too close. He had lost his family too, and he especially missed his daughter he had called Dakota. He still has a picture of her hidden deep in his jacket.
The nuclear winter was horrid, and no one is safe from the dangers of the world.
