This skin was very carefully designed to attempt to keep the shapes correct. Unfortunately, due to the low resolution and the limitations of skin geometry, I was forced to make a few sacrifices. Overall, I think the skin turned out really well, and I'm happy that I finally achieved what I think is a good tribute to one of the greatest giant-robo anime's ever written.

I have been meaning to redo this skin for 1.8 for a long while, and finally got around to it. With the new skin type, I was able to separate the chassis from the outer armor pieces, add depth to the chest and back, and flesh out some details that were not otherwise possible (ex. the different badges on each front shoulder, and the shield/grappler on the right arm). I basically tore this skin almost down to nothing and redrew it from scratch. I hope you enjoy it!
