WHAT UP PMC

Since everyone is getting back into Minecraft it seems (myself included), I updated my skin. New colors, changed the shirt a little bit. Pretty much the same. Gotta update it every 3 years right?! See y'all again in 2022. ;-)

This is super nostalgic, going on this site. I spent a good 2-3 years at the place, a large majority of my adolescence. I'd spend my daying playing MC with my friends, and making skins for the good people of PMC. It felt so rewarding; creating these lil works of art and all of the positive feedback they recieved.

I remember this all starting, way back like 4 years ago. I would browse the popular reel, just admiring these awesome skins and dreaming of the fame of being on it. I wanted to get on it so bad, but I knew it would be pretty difficult as a young skinner. I remember tagging some skins as original, so people knew that I made them myself. I recall talking about this with my dad, an artist, and remember him encouraging me after every skin i created. I worked so very hard on those early skins, always hoping I'd score the jackpot and see my name on the reel. my first "popular" skin, Anthony from smosh, I spent almost all day working tirelessly, getting opinions from my father, looking at numerous inspirations, to get it just right. After I finished, I had such a rewarding feeling, and I knew that I had done good. Even if it didn't get on the popular reel, I was proud nontheless. when I posted it, however, I had a feeling deep down that It'd be a hit. I posted it, and went right to bed. I was up all night, hoping and crossing my fingers that my dream would come true. when I woke up the next morning, I shakily checked back, and was greated with a FLOOD of response. Not only was my skins on the popular reel, it was on the front page of the site. I went from like level 2 to level 12 in about 8 hours. little me was euphoric. my dream had come true! but I couldn't stop there, I had to make more! This was the beginning of something great.

I spent around the next 2 years making skins, making friends, and making a home at planetminecraft.com. Every skin I would make, I would get so many wonderful comments from you amazing people, and I'd just have the biggest grin on my face. To everyone that gave me a diamond, a favorite, left a comment, or subscribed- thank you. you made a socially awkward, insecure preteen for once feel good about himself. The impact this community had on my development as a person was tremendous, and I simply cannot thank you enough. And here I am, almost 5 years after making my account, a better human because of this place I called home for a long time.

Once again, thank you. I will never forget what this community has done for me, for all my years to come. :-)
