This is a tribute to portal. The character has a companion cube as a head, his body is a "wall" in which the portal has a man jumping through. His legs have the special fall boots used to keep your character wistaining falls for up to 3 blocks high. As you can see, his arms each have their own portal gun. This is a factor in which i can not ignore. Overall, this is a full representation of the popular game portal.
