In a parallel universe earth's land is filled to the rim with water ( Like Waterworld! ), the legends say the lands from beneath the sea rose up from the water and planted themself in the sky.
Some sky-lands were masive, while some where rather small.
In the during of time darwin's theory came to work, and life created itself.
After millions of years a kind of human species started developing.
City's were build and a big community around the globe was made.
Every Sky-island has his own leader of the people on the island, who rules the island.
The world is filled with people who want to take over as many sky-islands as possible.
The task of the Lord of his island is to protect the people and his island.
After creating air-ships the " Revolution of the sky " began.
Many people on the islands began to rise to different islands, which before would cost decades to build a bridge to.
From the generations after the revolution humans were picked out of the masses to be trained to be a sky-raider.
A sky raider would later work for his island ( Think of it as an army ) and for his lord.

Rained Ceales, was one of the lucky to be chosen to be a sky-raider.
Later even becoming the Lord of the island after an attack of other islands.
Here is one of his adventures :


" So what's the plan ? " asked Ergarth, the first mate on the ship, peeking through his spyglass.
Rained turned his head towards him, following the end to the spyglass to find a variation of ships flying in the distance.
" Pirates ? "
" Pirates ! " Ergarth confirmed.
" Get the cannons ready, we want to be ready for any kind of action. "
" Our army is divided into two sections Captain, the other sky-raiders, together with Captain Maroln are on the other side of the island patrolling. " Esgarth responded.
For an instance Rained was silence, staring into the sunset to the left of his ship.
" Captain ? "
Rained turned his head again to his right, only to find Esgarth's confused face.
" We can't risk an attack on the island. " Rained said.
" We can't even protect ourselfs from an attack, " Esgarth said, responding faster than Rained expected.
" We must get Captain Maroln. " he continued.
" And how do you want to accomplish that ? " Rained asked.
" Well the Blue Falcon is the most powerfull, so we can send the Thunder's Touch. "
" The Thunder's Touch is the second most powerfull ship, you know. " Rained said, turning his head forwards straight into the line of enemy ships.
" The Thunder's Touch has the best engines, he'll be back no time. " Esgarth explained.
" Send them. " Rained responded.
Not a second later Esgarth ran his way onto the deck, jumping down from the stairs. 
" Bring her closer ! " he yelled at Rained.
Rained turned his ship's wheel around, the Blue Falcon approached the Thunder's Touch slowly.
Esgarth hung his upper-body over the railing.
" CAPTAIN THENSH ! " he screamed almost spitting out his lungs with the air.
A bearded man came to the railing at the top of the deck, looking down to Esgarth on the lower deck of the Blue Falcon.
" Get Captain Maroln, he's on the other side of the island ! "
" Consider it done. " the bearded man said.
Rained turned the Blue Falcon to face his enemy, a line of ships who hung still in the air.
He began thinking about what would happen if he wasn't here, if he was exploring with the other sky-raiders.
Images blinked past his mind showing burned houses, the great house burning with a fierce flame.
He saw people, his people, running away from the pirates.
His mind projected an image of the pirates leaving the sky-island, the green bushes, burned.
The city, burned.
His home burned.
His people, burned.
He slammed his hand which he crafted into a fist on the railing to the side of him.
" LOAD THE CANNONS ! " he screamed, the inner of his lungs exploding, blowing all the air out.
Esgarth looked up at Rained, he saw a face of pure energy, exploding with anger.
He realised he stood still, while the whole crew was moving around, shouting.
He moved from his ground and started helping the other get the cannons on the deck.
With his hand he wiped the dust from the cannon he was pushing.
How long had it been ? He thought to himself.
