Story
300 years after a nuclear weapons development base in Sarov, Russia had a tragic accident that took the lives of hundreds of Russian soldiers and technicians, Russia pushed federal funding to clean up the city and put residents in it. However, in the heart of what used to be the nuclear weapons base, there is a mysterious underground system of hallways that no living entity has ever explored. The Russian construction crews had made plans to clear it out, and they never expected there to be anything unusual. However, this was not the case. Inside of the "empty" catacombs lived the rotted skeletons of the hundreds of Russian workers that died during the accident at the base. Their eyes were pitch black, and their bones were dark from nuclear fallout. The nuclear compounds had turned them lifeless, but they were still conscious. They knew of the plans that the Russian government had made, and were planning ahead of time.
As the Russians descended down the hills that surrounded the base, the skeletons were hiding in their rooms. One of the skeletons, however, was instructed to guide the humans through the catacomb and avoid residential areas. He was standing at the front of the entrance and introduced himself to the humans. The humans accepted him to guide them through the dark pathways. The skeleton showed them some of the main hallways before reaching a cave. None of the other skeletons had ever explored this cave, but he was willing to sacrifice his life if he had to. The group ventured through the cave before reaching a sinkhole. Before anyone could say a word, the skeleton pulled out his diamond knife which he had made himself. "You have reached the end." He said. As none of the humans had adapted to the darkness, the skeleton began to strike at one after the other. The humans were in chaos, trying to flee from their death. None of them were successful, and the Russians canceled all renovation plans on the city. The skeletons celebrated their victory, and lived peacefully and contently.
