This skin was made for the upcoming historical roleplay server called Romecraft: Italia, which is set during the Second Punic War. Learn more about it on our page!
The Samnites were an ancient Italic people who lived in Samnium in south-central Italy. They become involved in several wars with the Roman Republic until the 1st century BC. They were an Oscan-speaking people who lived alongside the Latin and Umbrian speaking peoples of Italy, and they probably originated as an offshoot of the Sabines. The Samnites formed a confederation consisting of four tribes. They fought with and also against the Romans many times until finally being completely assimilated into Roman society.
This skin includes a more "native" hairstyle with a colorful and patterned Italic-style short tunic that was distinct among the many natives of Italy. This skin uses more 3d layers then the previous Samnite skins that I've done, mainly on the tunic. Unfortunately the PMC render makes it look a lot fatter then it actually is in game.
You may recolor and modify this skin as you please, but please give credit. You may use this skin on any server you like.
