Ever since Animus was struck by a disease that plagued his home village he has had to feed upon the souls of the dead to survive, despite his grey hair and old look he is actually 15. For him everyday is a struggle to survive, he lives in the nether with only a dog to keep him company aside from the Ghasts, Blazes and Zombie Pigmen that he must kill to survive from the disease that he caught when he was 12.
