Spider Gwen is a character in the Marvel Comics Universe, created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli. She is an alternate universe version of Spider-Man, who was bitten by a genetically mutated spider in Oscorp, a scientific facility. Unlike Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy becomes a fearless hero who uses her powers for justice. She first appeared in the "Spider-Verse" event in 2014 and has since become one of the most popular characters in Marvel's multiverse.
