Squall Leonhart is the main character in the final fantasy VIII game from squaresoft (which later became Square-Enix) final fantasy series. this is one of my favourite final fantasy games too i might add, I thought the GF (Guardian Force) was an amazing idea like the Eidolon idea in final fantasy XIII and the Aeon idea in Final fantasy X (had the best summons and summoning system)
