Offical Lore:
Developed in early 2077 after the Anchorage Reclamation, the T-60 series of power armor was designed to eventually replace the T-51 as the pinnacle of powered armor technology in the U.S. military arsenal. The T-60 was deployed domestically among U.S. Army units just prior to the dropping of the bombs.
As of 2287, the Brotherhood of Steel East Coast Chapter has acquired a vast arsenal of T-60 power armor, as it has become their standard issue power armor, being commonly worn by both knights and paladins.
Custom Lore:
The T-60b is in reality a custom kit for the outdated T-45d when the T-51 was adopted, it have saw minor operation on Anchorage but have deployed in large numbers to the China Front where it was more cheaper than the T-51b, before the Great War the T-60 was less powerfull than T-51b but more than the T-45d e T-45e, used by the US Military in large scale and on hands of the Enclave before the adoption of the X-01 "Advanced Powered Combat Armor" and the X-02.
As 2287 the T-60 is used in certain ranks and with better plates and a better helmet to protect it user, it's loved among the Paladin's and Captain Knight's and it's produced on the Adams Air-Force Base.
Characteristics:
This variation of power armor is much larger and bulkier than previous models, closer to the appearance of classic Fallout power armor. The set looks similar to the T-45 power armor, but with a few minor differences. The shoulders of the T-60 are composite, double layered and shorter than its T-45d predecessor.
The T-45d shoulder plates are almost twice as long and are only a single piece of metal. The opening valve on the T-60 set is lower on the suit, larger and has a slot for a fusion core. The breastplate on the T-60 has two vertical handlebars, while the T-45d has a single horizontal handlebar.
Although collectively called Tesla armor, the set actually consists of only the arms and torso pieces. All three provide a slight bonus to damage dealt with energy weapons of 5% per item, or 15% if all three are equipped. Otherwise, they are completely identical to regular T-60 power armor components in terms of damage resistance, upgrade options.
All Tesla T-60 parts feature additional technical components that make them easily distinguishable from their regular versions. These take the form of multiple heavy-duty electrodes sizzling with electricity that are interconnected via thick cabling. Three are mounted on each pauldron, two on each forearm, and another two particularly large tank-like examples on the back of the torso piece.
History of Tesla T-60:
Ivy the original owner have found a still intact Custom Made T-60 on the arsenal, soo she took the suit and with schematic of the Tesla Armor she collected from a X-02 Enclave soldier, she's strap the Eletronics and Tesla Coins and insert to the T-60, this proven be more worth due to being more easy to repair instead of the X-02 due to it's use of many composite pieces.
